NeuroGrowth Program and Intensives, Robina
NeuroGrowth is our brain–body development program. It draws on the Melillo Method and other neurodevelopmental approaches, and looks at how your child's brain and body are working together. From there we build a program of targeted activities, delivered in clinic and continued at home.
What NeuroGrowth may include
- Primitive reflex activities
- Vestibular (balance) and core strength activities
- Ocular motor (eye movement) activities
- Proprioceptive and sensory activities
- Brain hemisphere activities
- Interactive Metronome and listening programs such as the Safe and Sound Protocol
- Low-level laser
- Vagus nerve stimulation
Each program is tailored to your child. Not every child will use every activity.
QEEG brain mapping
A QEEG (quantitative EEG) is a non-invasive recording of the brain's electrical activity, shown as a brain map. We use it alongside our other assessments to help plan your child's program.
Intensives
Intensives are a focused block of therapy over 1 or 2 weeks, often chosen by families who live outside the Gold Coast or want to make the most of school holidays.
- Full initial assessment
- A tailored mix of primitive reflex, movement, core, balance, vestibular and visual–motor activities
- Other therapies (OT, speech, physio, chiropractic) can be added
- Flexible timings, including school holidays
- Report and home program to continue at home

We also offer NeurOptimal® neurofeedback systems to rent for use at home, with training and support to get set up. See Neurofeedback Rentals

Frequently asked questions
Who is NeuroGrowth for? Children and young people who have difficulties with attention, regulation, coordination, learning or movement, with or without a diagnosis.
Do we need to live locally for an intensive? No. Intensives are designed so families can travel in for 1–2 weeks and continue with a home program afterwards.
Can NeuroGrowth be combined with other therapy? Yes. It often runs alongside OT, physiotherapy, speech pathology and chiropractic care.
Can NDIS fund NeuroGrowth or an Intensive? Yes, if your child's NDIS plan is self-managed or plan-managed. Private clients are welcome too.
